Melissa Doucette, MA, LMFT

Melissa Doucette is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College and a master’s degree from Argosy University. She has worked extensively with survivors of trauma, violence, and relational violence in the U.S. and abroad.

Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, parent-child relationship issues, eating disorders, trauma, couples counseling, women’s issues and adolescent adjustment issues. She utilizes a variety of techniques including experiential, narrative, solution focus, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and  Reprocessing), and Sand Tray Therapy. Melissa’s goal in therapy is to help people rediscover hope in the midst of difficult situations, and find joy in life again. Her sense of humor and ability to encourage self-expression have helped many people to realize their potential.
