Karissa Godel, MS, LPCC, LADCKarissa Godel is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Crown College, St. Bonifacius, Minnesota, and her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University–Mankato. Karissa leads group programs in Northland’s Lighthouse Co-Occurring Disorders Program in Maple Grove, and also teaches Driving with Care® classes at the Northland Maple Grove office. She spent four years as a volunteer serving at-risk youth in a non-profit setting, and also worked as a personal care attendant for middle school-aged boys with autism spectrum disorder. Her clinical interests include recovery from sexual abuse-related post-traumatic stress disorder and therapy for adolescents.
