Jeremy Stapel, MA, LMFT

Jeremy Stapel, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, received his Master’s Degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School in Richfield, Minnesota. Mr. Stapel formerly worked in Boston at South Bay Mental Health Center treating individuals and families in both outpatient and community outreach settings. His clinical interests include couples and family counseling, child and adolescent therapy, trauma and abuse issues, depression, and anxiety. Mr. Stapel utilizes both directive and non-directive play therapy to treat abuse, depression anger, grief, and other issues affecting children. His application of play therapy uses the child’s natural inclination for play in a therapeutic setting when the child has difficulty communicating and expressing emotions effectively on a verbal level. He works with couples and individuals of all ages, and is involved in the Bridges at Stone Creek (Intensive Outpatient Program) and North Star (skills training) group programs at the Chanhassen office.

Available for appointments in Chanhassen and Maple Grove.

Jeremy works with children,  adolescents,  adults of all ages, couples and families.
