Elizabeth Root, MA, LAMFT

Elizabeth Root is a Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist providing counseling for children, adults, and families. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Catherine University and her graduate degree from St. Mary’s University. Beth has twenty years of experience in the fields of social work and therapy, helping kids and families. She uses ideas from Collaborative Helping, Solution-Focused and Narrative Therapy. She has expertise in assisting families through the adoption process, attachment work, court-ordered clients, grief and ambiguous loss, domestic violence, abuse, neglect, and family cohesion. Beth has extensive experience helping people soften reluctance, recover from addictions, and create a vision of a preferred future.
