Afton Steinhoff, MSW, LGSW

Afton Steinhoff is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW).  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Madison where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Spanish, and her Master’s degree in clinical Social Work with a Mental Health Concentration. She enjoys working with people from all stages of life and with diverse backgrounds.  Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, grief and loss, addiction, chemical dependency, and spiritual issues. Afton highly values the relationship process and listening to her clients’ stories without judgment. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, mind/body awareness, play therapy, mindfulness, and Brainspotting.

Available for appointments in Chanhassen.

Afton works with children (ages 6+), adolescents, and adults.
